Articles rotate through every practice the firm runs, on real client files from the first month, mentored by co-founder CA Kamal Tekwani with the operational partner of each practice supervising the work.

What you will work on
Most Ahmedabad firms put an article on one desk for two years. Our rotation is built the other way: by the end you have done every kind of work the firm undertakes, so you can choose a specialisation knowing what each one actually involves.
- GST advisory and litigation: returns, refunds, reconciliations, notices, departmental audits and appeals up to the Tribunal.
- Income tax: returns for companies, firms, NRIs and founders, tax audit under section 44AB, TDS compliance, notices and assessments.
- Audit and assurance: statutory, internal, tax, concurrent and stock audits across manufacturing, trading, services and startups.
- Virtual CFO: monthly MIS, cash-flow forecasts, budgets and board packs on live retainers for funded startups and SMEs.
- Project financing and government incentives: CMA reports, term-loan proposals, bank coordination, and eligibility and claim work under Viksit Gujarat Industrial Policy 2026 and central schemes.
- Company law and ROC: incorporations, annual filings, board and shareholder paperwork, LLP compliance, Startup India registration.
- India entry and FEMA: US and other foreign parents setting up Indian subsidiaries, FDI reporting, FEMA filings, transfer pricing documentation.
- Offshore bookkeeping: month-end close for US, UK, Australia and New Zealand clients on QuickBooks Online, Xero and Sage.
- Technology and automation: the firm builds its own tools under Trivida: workflow automation, dashboards and ERP work.

For each practice you rotate into, the partner who runs it supervises the work: CA Devang Jasani (GST litigation, international tax, technology), CA Divya Gothi (Virtual CFO, project finance), CA Riya Humbal (compliance lifecycle), CA Rivya Humbal (operations and quality), CA Aman Patni (IBC, RERA, FEMA, audit).
Stipend, hours, leave
- Stipend ₹8,000 to ₹10,000 a month, paid from the first month, above the ICAI minimum for Ahmedabad.
- Two years under the ICAI new scheme, registered after both groups of Intermediate and ICITSS.
- Exam leave: close to none. The Final attempt comes after the two years, so there is no exam inside the training to take leave for.
- Real files from month one. No dummy articleship. Work is reviewed by the supervising partner under the firm's quality SOPs.

Who should apply

What is the articleship stipend at ADAPT & Associates in Ahmedabad?
₹8,000 to ₹10,000 a month. It is paid every month from the first month and is above the ICAI minimum for Ahmedabad. There are no deductions for training materials or software.
Is the articleship two years or three?
Two years, under the ICAI new scheme of education and training. You register after clearing both groups of CA Intermediate and completing ICITSS, and the Final attempt comes after the two years. We do not offer the old three-year route.
How much exam leave do articles get?
Close to none. Under the new scheme the Final attempt follows the two-year training, so there is no exam inside the articleship to take leave for. Training time is training time; study is after. If long study leave is what you are looking for, we are the wrong firm, and we would rather say so here than in an interview.
Which departments will I work in?
All of them. The rotation is designed so that by the end of two years you have done every kind of work the firm undertakes: GST returns, refunds, notices and appeals; income tax returns, tax audit and TDS; statutory, internal and stock audits; MIS and cash-flow work on Virtual CFO retainers; CMA reports, project financing and government incentive claims; company incorporation and ROC filings; FEMA and transfer pricing for US-parented subsidiaries; US and UK bookkeeping on QuickBooks Online and Xero; and the firm's automation and dashboard work.

No. Attendance and work are real, and you will be on client files from the first month. We do not sign for articles who do not train with us.
Who is eligible to apply?
Students who have cleared both groups of CA Intermediate and completed ICITSS, and are eligible to register for practical training with ICAI under the new scheme. You should be able to work from our Bodakdev, Ahmedabad office. Comfort with spreadsheets and cloud accounting tools helps; curiosity and clear written English matter more.
When does intake open?
Applications are open through the year and seats are filled as they come up, usually in step with the ICAI registration windows. Apply when you are eligible; we will tell you the earliest start we can offer.
What happens after articleship?
Your Final attempt, with the two years of real files behind you. Articles who want to stay in practice are the first people we talk to when a seat opens on a team, but there is no bond and no obligation either way.
